The BDHS spent a day on the Suffolk coast, with lunch spent at Dunwich Heath and and enjoyable afternoon wandering around the streets of Aldborough.

The Secondary Modern School on the outskirts of the village of Lound in Suffolk. Opened in 1959, closure is planned for the year 2011. This will be a sad day for all the ex pupils and staff. With many happy and fond memories of their school days spent on the playing fields and in the surroundind area.

Outing by the Belton & District Historical Society to the Gressenhall on the 15th August,2010
A fantastic day has had by all who went along to see this old building which was a workhouse for the very poor and people who were down on their luck in the 19th and early 20th Century, and surrounding farm with such history in the buildings, you would need at least a full day to really appreciate the magnificence of the buildings.

The Belton and District Historical Society paid a visit to the Caister Volunteer Lifeboat station in Caister on Sea on Sunday 24th July 2012 . Thiswas arranged after the station held a talk back in 2011 to mark the appreciation for the service.
A presentation cheque was handed over to Mr Derek George and a collection was made on the day.

The Belton & District Historical Society held their annual Christmas fayre on the 28th November 2015 at the village school. Stalls included raffle, tombola and various crafts and gifts. Guest appearance from a pair of Star wars storm troopers.

The Belton & District Historical Society's annual Christmas fayre took place in the Kings Head public house on the 1st December this year with a variety of stalls including "tombola and guess the name of the teddy".
